take highway 85 south,
exit toward almaden expwy,
turn left to almaden expwy north
proceed 0.5 mile to north
left turn toward Best Buy on your left

Prep: bike, helmet, gloves, lots of water (no shades)
Course: Joseph Grant Park Trails
15 to 20 miles (3.5 hours expected)
Tour Fee: $10 (includes entrance fee, drink, power bars)

Note: Your family can play, walk around this park, while
we are riding. Welcome!

The Joseph D. Grant County Park is located at:

You can reach the park office at (408) 274-6121

The park is located on Mt. Hamilton Road in the Halls Valley, just east of the larger Santa Clara Valley. Travel to the park by taking Highway 101 or Highway 680 to Alum Rock Avenue eastbound in San Jose. Turn right onto Mt. Hamilton Road and travel eight miles to reach the park entrance

These shared-use trails are unpaved and open to bicyclists, equestrians and pedestrians. ANSI/Snell approved helmets are mandatory for all mountain bicyclists. For the safety and protection of all visitors, please adhere to the following trail etiquette guidelines.

Stay on designated trails.
Be considerate.
Be aware of conditions.
Plan ahead.
Remember...hikers yield to equestrians, cyclists and pedestrians with dogs yield to hikers and equestrians.
