이반 바소를 4분 40초차로 따돌리고 정상에 올랐습니다.
오늘 레이스는 비가 내려 미끄러워진 탓에
디스커버리채널 프로사이클팀의 동료 3명이 넘어지는 사고를 당했지만,
다행히 암스트롱은 무사히 21구간을 통과해
그의 은퇴무대를 화려하게 마감할 수 있었습니다.
3위는 영원한 2인자라던 얀울리히가 차지했습니다.
종합우승이 확정된 수 암스트롱은
"절대로 후회는 없다. 난 믿을 수 없는 역사를 만들어왔다"면서
"내년에는 느긋히 TV 앞을 지켜야겠다."
내년 레이스는 재미있고 흥미있을 것 같다"고 말하며
