전기자전거의 배터리를 얼마나 사용했고 얼마나 남아있는지 알 수 있는 배터리 게이지를 만들었습니다. 라이딩시 뿐만 아니라 충전시의 누적 충전전류용량까지 측정 할 수 있고 저전압 경고 만충전 표시. 구간 배터리 소모량 등을 측정 할 수 있습니다.

I modified my MTB with 750W mid motor and I really enjoyed riding. It iwas a Whole new world. But the battery gauge in the controller was not accurate and I could not rely on. I decided to make my own.
I started with I2C 40x4 text LCD but it was too bulky amd cannot accommodate much information. I then adopted SPI 1.8" 128x160 TFT LCD and was able to reduce the size to 1/3 while displaying a lot more information with vivid colors
I use MCP3424 i2c 18 bit ADC, but with 14 bit resolution as 18 bit became quite slow. Measured Voltage and current 5 times/sec and then display calculated mAH, WH, V/A, Runtime and lap time/mAH. It also has under voltage warning, charge indicator. As bidirectional measurement is possible with MCP3424, it is easy to measure both charge and discharge current from/ to battery pack which has 48V 20A capacity.
