Hi
This is very important so I have to use English. My Korean ability is not good.
About three years ago my 1998 Kona Kiluaea was stolen in Hongje Dong (홍제동).
With the help of many kind Korean mountain bikers I reported the loss to the police, went to many bike shops and put a message on this website.
But I could not find my bike.
Today, when I was walking near NamSong (남성역) I saw a man riding on the street on my bicycle. I stopped him and for a short time we argued, because for a short time I was very very excited to see my bike and my behaviour was a little rude.
But he is an honest man. I am sure he is not the thief.
I showed him a photo of my bike that I always carry in my wallet and told him I was 100% sure it is my bike. I believe the Kona Kiluaea is unique in Korea.
So we went to a police station and talked with the police and also my Korean friend on the phone. I have to totally prove that the bike is mine.
The man and I exchanged phone numbers and contact details and I wil have to contact him again.
Please help me. I need the people on this website to support me. Some people helped me look for the bike and some people helped put the pictures of the bike on the internet.
I really hope that I can prove this bike is mine. I know it is mine. I will contract my brothers shop in England and find to exact serial number.
Thanks for any help you can give me.
Duncan
