SRAM Completes Drivetrain Offerings With Purchase Of Truvativ

SEPTEMBER 24, 2004 -- CHICAGO, IL (BRAIN)--By mid-October, SRAM Corporation will own Truvativ. The purchase, announced late yesterday, will add to SRAM's stable cranksets, bottom brackets, stems, handlebars and other components.
스램사는 트루바티브를 소유하게 될거다. 어제늦게 발표된 이 인수는 스램사에게 안정적인 크랭크셋 bb 스템 핸들과 다른 부품들을 추가시켜 줄것이다.
"Truvativ is a great company with a remarkable track record of growth and innovation. SRAM is excited to bring the Truvativ Team and products into our organization," said Stan Day, SRAM's president. "Cranksets and bottom brackets complete SRAM's drivetrain product line."

Micki Kozuschek, Truvativ's president, said his company was at a crossroads "to either make a complete drivetrain ourselves or team up with SRAM."
트루바 회장은 " 우리도 구동파트 풀라인업을 구축하기위해 선택의 기로에 있었다. 자체적으로 하든 스램과 합병하든...
"I am excited that we now have a complete drivetrain and all the necessary human and financial resources to make it the best in the industry. Great products will be coming your way," Kozuschek said.

Truvativ headquarters will remain in San Luis Obispo, California. Kozuschek will lead Truvativ as general manager, responsible for product development, sales and marketing. Truvativ's factory in Taichung, Taiwan, led by Gary Peng, will continue manufacture cranksets. There will be no transaction-related layoffs, according to SRAM.
스램사 소식통에 따르면 트루바는 캘리포니아에 그대로 남아있을 것이다. 트루바 회장은 제너랄 매니저로 개발과 영업/판매에 책임을 맡을것이며 크랭크셋 공장은 타이완에 가팽에의해 그대로 운영될것이다. 양사의 해고는 없을것이다.
Truvativ order processing and customer service will not be altered for this model year, but will be linked to SRAM's operations by next June in time for 2006 model year product release.
트루바의 주문과정과 고객서비스는 올해모젤까지는 그대로 유지된다. 그러나 2006년모넬 출시되는 내년 6월에는 스램의 체제를 따라 운영될 것이다.
SRAM bought brake manufacturer Avid earlier this year, and recently integrated its services into SRAM's systems.
올해에 스램은 브레이크 제조자 아비드사를 인수했다. 그리고 곧 스램의 조직에 편입시킬것이다.
