미국 MTBR 컨슈머 리뷰의 사장인 Paul Wassem으로부터 이메일이 왔습니다.

와일드바이크의 MTB Review 라는 메뉴는 자신들이 등록한 트레이드 마크이므로 사용을 할 수 없다.
고로 해당 메뉴를 삭제해달라는 이메일이 왔습니다.

거참.....

그래서 수용하기로 하였습니다. 단, 미국기업의 트레이드 마크가 한국에 등록되어 있지 않는 경우에는 해당이 없다면 굳이 삭제할 필요는 없을것 같은데, 이 상황이 어떤 상황인지 잘 모르겠군요.

일주일 안에 삭제하겠다고 답변은 주었지만, 혹시 이 상황을 잘 설명해주실 분이 계신지요

I am writing to alert you that your Web site, www.wildbike.co.kr, is using
our registered trademark, MTB REVIEW, without authorization. Consumer
Review, Inc., owns the MTB REVIEW trademark and uses it exclusively in
connection with MTBREVIEW.com, a Consumer Review Web site. We have not
authorized your company to use the MTB REVIEW trademark, yet I discovered
that your Web site, www.wildbike.co.kr, is using it on the following Web
pages:

http://www.wildbike.co.kr/mtbreview.htm -- And in the main navigation
http://www.wildbike.co.kr/main.htm -- In the index to Web sections

Therefore, I respectfully request that you immediately discontinue the use
of our MTB REVIEW trademark, and that you immediately remove it from any Web
pages, content, marketing collateral, or other materials that may contain
it. I assume that your use of our trademark was inadvertent and
unintentional, so I will expect your immediate and complete compliance with
this request. Please reply to this email if you have any questions or
concerns.
