'crusher' 라는 카본무늬 흙받이로 유명한 SKS 홈페이지(http://www.sks-germany.com)를 가보니 헤드샥, 레프티등 관심가는 단어들이 나와 자세히 살펴보니 다음과 같은 제품이 있었습니다.
(1) shockboard
무게 160g 의 흙받이
(원문: Shockboard special geometry takes into account both the travel of the fork, as well as a sufficient footroom around the pedals. It moves parallel to the steering so that the wide section is permanently positioned above the front wheel.
Optimal spray-guarding is is guaranteed even at high speed. Being made from shock-resistant plastic the section is both od durable stiffness (no fluttering) an extremly light weight (160g).
Last but not least - the recommended retail price. DM 24.95 (12.76 EUR). Shocking!)
(2) headshock 어댑터
자세한 설치법은 안나와 있으나, 헤드샥 하단 밸브부분에 'fix-it' 방식으로 어댑터를 설치한 뒤, 케이블 타이를 이용해 Shockboard 흙받이와 연결하는 방식으로 보입니다. 일반방식보다 무게를 더 줄일 수 있다고 하는군요.
(원문 : This has been developed specifically for the Cannondale Headshok forks but it can also be used as a simple "fix-it" solution for other forks having a small diameter hole in the fork stem It is easy to fit with two cable straps. The Shockboard is attached with a simple click as with the standard adapter. The adapter is supplied with six cable straps.

You save 8g. weight compared to the standard adapter. Ask for the adapter specifically for your forks. )
(3) Lefty 어댑터
레프티샥의 스티어러 튜브 하단은 일반 포크처럼 일반적이 파이프 형태인데, 이곳에 아답터를 끼워 넣고, 그림의 오른쪽 부분에 Shockboard 흙받이를 끼워 장착하는 방식으로 보입니다.
(원문 : The Lefty adapter is specifically for Cannondale Lefty forks. The new plug has an off-center facility which positions the Shockboard directly over the front wheel.
It simplifies the fitting of a Shockboard to the Lefty fork. The Lefty adapter is used with the standard fittings supplied with the Shockboard. )
** 국내에 수입이 되었는지 모르겠는데, 이 제품들을 이용하면 기존 방식(아시는 분들은 아시죠^^) 보다 훨씬 수월하게 흙받이를 장착가능할 것 같습니다. 물론 THE 제품보다는 흙받이 모양이 조금 떨어지는거 같긴 합니다만..^^
