프레임은 밴쉬 채퍼럴입니다만, 앞 포크의 경우 트래블이 최대한 얼마까지 장착가능한지요? 답변해주시면 감사하겠습니다.

  • A funny thing happened when people started riding our Scream
"shore style" freeride bikes. Because Screams pedal so well
and are incredibly nimble and precise, people began trail riding
with them too. Riders tell us that because the suspension works
so well under pedaling, the bike feels 10 to 15lb lighter than
it actually is. Hey, there're freaks everywhere, I guess.

After hundreds of requests for a lighter “all around” trail
version of our “shore style” Scream freeride bike, we are pleased
to introduce the Banshee Chaparral. The Chaparral frame is a whopping
4½ lb lighter than the Scream, has steeper-quicker handling geometry
and it climbs like an x/c machine. We shaved major bulk from the
frame but retained our renowned rigidity and strength, to make the
Chaparral the ultimate all around trail bike..

The Chaparral was designed for both uphill and downhill trail
riding and has awesome “all around trail” geometry when fitted with
a 5” fork. This positions your body over the bike for quicker handling
in tight trails and has better ergonomics for climbing than the Scream.
All around bikes weigh in around 30lb.

The suspension geometry of the Chaparral is incredibly versatile for
trail riding. The unique twin rocker pivot mounts on the seat tube provide
suspension rising rates and travel adjustments for either air or coil shocks.
By isolating and fine tuning the positions of the two rocker mounting points
for the two distinct shock types, we’ve been able to create two separate
and distinct rising rates for two separate trail riding disciplines.

If you put a 7" fork on the Chaparral, the angles "rake out" and the BB
rises. The bike becomes a high speed gravity sled. Add a 24" rear wheel
and you're shore ready. The morphed slack cockpit geometry slows down
the steering, buying rider's precious reaction time, which builds
confidence for ripping through rough and broken terrain.

A 2”stroke coil shock gives the Chaparral 5” or 6” of highly progressive
oil damped travel. The long travel suspension “ramps up” progressively
to resist bottom out on bigger hits and the BB is higher for more pedal
clearance in extreme conditions. It’s not a huge north shore drop machine,
but with a 7” fork and a 6” of rear travel, the Chaparral can rip up bermed
single track and it has all the rigidity to negotiate ladders, skinnies,
needles and slippery log rides with style. This could be the ultimate
bike park machine. A freeride Chaparral weighs 32-38lb.

Change the position of the rockers and install an air shock and you
    have a completely different bike.

When set it up with an air shock, 4” forks and select lightweight parts,
the Chaparral is an awesomely tough, plush and rigid marathon/epic bike.
With a 1.5” stroke air shock and 4 or 5 inches of travel, the Chaparral’s
suspension feels like a firm riding marathon bike. It locks out solidly
for long fire road climbs and road miles. It’s quick to accelerate and is
incredibly plush over stutter bumps, rocks, roots and some drops. A hella
strong epic/marathon Chaparral can be built up less than 27lb.

The Chaparral is completely hand built with genuine Easton Rad tubes and
our exclusive internally ribbed seat and chain stays, not generic who knows
what tubes with a cute name. We’ve incorporated our patented cold forged
"Pony keg" head tube, which is virtually impossible to ovalize, and a new
cold forged 1 piece main pivot/BB /shock basement for unparalleled bottom
end stiffness. Even the chain stay and seat stay yokes are cold forged for
the highest strength to weight ratio in the business. The suspension pivots
are full ball bearing and are exactly the same as on our Scream frame,
    because it works.
